- It is your own integrity.
- To ensure fairness, every participant should follow the official route which will help reduce dispute in the distance clocked (the distance shown on your GPS watch/phone may be inaccurate). Please follow the official route (Click HERE).
- Any deviation from the official route will not be counted in the distance covered (for example, walking back to your home/accommodation/wrong route will not be added into your total mileage)
- You must show/provide evidence that you have followed the official route via any of the following means:
- Use your apps/watch to track/follow the route that you are taking. NOTE: Please ensure you press the 'Start' button on your apps/watch/device. Send/share your activity after you complete it to Ben Swee so we can verify.
- Follow someone who uses an app/watch to track/follow their movement and ask them to act as your guarantor.
- Take a selfie/wefie with a landmark in the background or street name/junction every 5km interval and immediately post it on Facebook or send via message to Ben Swee.
- This is a 100% self-supported & self-navigate event.
- There are no road closures. You must stay on the footpaths & follow traffic rules at all times.
- There are no aid stations nor will medical aid provided. If you need medical aid, please proceed to the nearest clinic/hospital. Any medical-related expenses are to be borne by the participant.
- Directional signages & Distance markers are not setup.
- This is truly a no frills event.
- This will be a "Journey of Discovery" & "Exploration of Singapore"
To reduce/avoid a situation where the organiser/family/friends will be worried for you, all participants are required to update Ben Swee with the following:
1. If you decide to stop & not continue with the event.
2. At every 6 hour interval from 12am onwards (12am, 6am, 12pm, 6pm) or at any point you think necessary, every participant (or your support crew/pacer) who is still out on the course, must send a message directly (via Facebook/Whatsapp/SMS) or photo to Ben Swee (https://www.facebook.com/ben.swee.5) or update the event page on Facebook with the following info:
- Your current location (road name/landmark)
- Distance covered
- Any issue you have (if any)
NOTE: If no updates are received on your location/status every 6 hours, the participant may be disqualified or other penalties may be imposed by Ben, such as time penalty.
